Xcontest opublikował wyniki bieżącego sezonu. W dwóch kategoriach Polacy na podium - GRATULACJE!

This season in OPEN category was literally a battle of Brazil record chasing flights from October 19'. Like the previous season, all three winners have their longest flights from Brazil towing sites (Caico & Assu).

First place belongs for the first time to the British pilot Guy Anderson with his longest flight 535 km and total score 2778 points
Second place flies to the paragliding nation Switzerland - Sebastian Benz seasonal maximum was 553 km with total 2730 points
And third place with 2583 points has been defended by Juan Sebastian Ospina also from the United Kingdom

World XContest 2020 champions - ♀️ WOMEN ♀️ !

1st: Amazing Swiss pilot Yael Margelisch had incredible season with many personal and world records.️ She won for the first time the Women category and even reached 12th place in Open! Her best performance from Brazil Caico 552 km contributed to a total score 2267 points.
2nd: Silver goes to Mexico - Paty G Letona with all best flights footlaunched, mainly from Patu (400+km) achieved 1533 p.
3rd: Former winner from 2018, Joanna Di Grigoli has returned to the virtual podium with a bronze medal! She flew incredibly in Brazilian flatlands and French Alps with total 1512 points.

Today we would like to present winners of SERIAL category (max. EN-D):

The first place goes again to Switzerland combination of Brazil flights and Swiss FAI triangle with total 2238 points brought fame and glory to Philippe Leuenberger.
The second place also belongs to Swiss pilot Rico Chandra flew incredible flights in Brazil ️as well as at home, the most valuable flight from Caico had 474km and contributed to total score 2216 points.
And third place with 2203 points won Portuguese pilot Carlos Lopes️ with all footlaunched flights from Brazilian Patu (2x 500+km) and Spanish Zarza Capilla.

World XContest 2020 WINNERS in PG categories SPORT (max EN-C)

First standing goes to the XContest long time champion from Italy. Manuele Dondi on his EN-B wing has won with best FAI triangle flights from Antholz (1924p.).
Second place belongs to Polish pilot Łukasz Prokop, he performed an exceptional combination of Alpine and Polish flatland flights (1758p.).
Third place flies for the first time to Iran. All homeland flights by Erfan Ataee has proved that Iran is the right place for long XC flying (1746p.).️

World XContest 2020 WINNERS in PG category STANDARD (max EN-B)

first place is not a surprise, because Manuele Dondi has won also the previous Sport category! What a outstanding performance on his B wing!
Silver medal (and 6th in Sport category) belongs to Damian Lestarpe with amazing towing flights from Brazil and ️️home Argentina (total 1686p.).
And third place goes to Poland - Lukas Sieminski has achieved the bronze by cool mix flights from Italian and Slovenian Alps, above Kenyan Kerio valley and Polish flatlands (1674p.)
