Adjusting to circumstance, the 48th edition of the Coupe Icare will be for the most passionate of passionate pilots!
During this strange period worldwide, rest assured that the Coupe Icare team is, along with its numerous volunteers, still on course in working on a great new edition for 2021.
We are keeping up with the ever-changing legal requirements that will likely impose access controls and Sanitary Passes. Whatever the circumstances, we will surmount every hurdle for our annual rendezvous.
Much to our chagrin, the air shows and Icarnaval had to be cancelled because of the impossible task of controlling sanitary passes on the crowd-packed landing zone in Lumbin.

The beacons of this year’s Coupe Icare are the Icarus Expo and Icares of Cinema. But there will be the plus of viewing the 2020 as well as the 2021 film selections.
The boosted music program and street animations will support the festive spirit. And, don’t forget the great novelty of 2021: the Icare Test.
There will be lots of slots leisure flying and shuttles for pilots between Lumbin and St Hilaire running all day long.

On the whole, the upbeat atmosphere will remain intact, with the support of a few additions: trampoline, slackline, paper airplane contest…

Flyers, amateurs, and professionals will gather Tuesday 14 to Sunday 19 September in Saint-Hilaire. Although dedicated principally to pilots, families are of course welcome to attend.

On Covid
The organizers ensure that national and local rules concerning the Covid 19 epidemic will be upheld on every point. A Covid administrator will be on site; hand sanitizers will be placed at the entrance of every venue: trade fair, cinema and cafeteria.

In response to recent obligations, everyone must reserve tickets online and present a sanitary pass upon entering the event.

Online tickets will be available at the end of August, that is up to the cut-off point for number of entries (5000 people/day).

Antigenic tests will be offered on site, however, be aware that lines may be long. At present it is not known whether the tests will be free or not. It is highly recommended to be tested before arrival.

Ja się jeszcze zastanawiam i może będę, bo w sumie aż tak daleko nie mam z Marsylii.
Organizatorzy pozwolą polatać w czasie imprezy ?

Latanie dla pilotów. Testy sprzętu. Expo i kino. I nie wiem co tam jeszcze

Popatrz tylko na stronę bo być może trzeba się zadeklarować na latanie. Transport ma być w cenie wejściówki, a ta specjalnie tania nie jest

- Icare Folies : from Tuesday 14 to Sunday 19 September. Twice as many artistic and musical programs, for twice as much fun for young and old!

- 1st Icare Test : from Tuesday 14 to Wednesday 15 September. Two days to test fly material provided by the exhibitors: wings, harnesses, flight instruments ....

- Icare Expo : from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 September. International trade fair, World’s n°1 for professionals of paragliding and paramotor

- Leisure flights: paragliding and paramotor

- Icare Balloons, leisurely hot air balloon rides : from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September

What's new in 2021?

- The slackline activity : On Friday and Saturday on the South Launch from 10 am to 6 pm, come and try out the slackline activity with the tightrope walker artist and world champion Théo Sanson. Whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced, you will appreciate his wise advice (free of charge)!10 lines just for you and your friends

- Come and explore the sky! With an experienced astronomer, you will be able to contemplate how the objects of the solar system move in relation to the stars, work with the phases of the Moon... in a didactic and entertaining way. At this time, you can also see the moon, with its craters and mountains, Jupiter and its moons, and Saturn with its rings. From Tuesday to Thursday, from 10 pm onwards,
